The establishment of the Cargill Global Innovation Center (GIC) Visitor Center provides a good platform for customer engagement and knowledge exchange. The Center operates annually from April 1 to October 31. To ensure operational integrity as well as safety of research and production, the following protocols shall govern all visitations:
1.Visit Request Submission:
· Notification Timeline: submit requests to the GIC Operations Director 4 weeks in advance.
· Visit Calendar: Visitor Center operates 6 days per month on Tuesday and Wednesday
· Submission Requirements: Purpose, group size, and time slot.
2.Biosecurity Compliance:
· Visiting team coordinator must brief all participants on the Biosecurity Agreement 14 days prior to the visit.
· Signed forms (group signatures permitted per organization) must be submitted prior to the visit.
3.Pre-Visit Coordination
· The GIC Operations Director and Changrong Biosecurity Officer will confirm schedule and handover procedures, as well as disinfection preparations.
4.Travel & Hygiene Protocol
· Lodging: visitors must arrive in Yuncheng/Yongji one day prior to visit.
· Pre-Entry Hygiene: Full-body showering and cloth change at hotel mandated on visit day.
5.On-Site Entry Protocol
· Sampling: Mandatory sample collection upon corridor arrival.

· Post-Sampling Procedures:
1)Perform hand hygiene with 5% ethanol sanitization
2)Wear disposable gloves and coverall
3)Put on shoe covers at isolation bench
· Testing Requirement: All specimens undergo immediate pathogen screening. Individual testing positive shall be permanently barred for future visit.
6.In-Center Conduct
· Non-Contact Policy: Strict prohibition of physical contact with windows of farrowing and nursery units.
7.Carry-on
· Electronic Devices: Carry-in permitted on visit day. Mandatory surface disinfection with 75% ethanol wipes before entry.
